What do I do if Titan places a trade with no TP/SL?

Please note every trade should have a Take Profit / Stop Loss. If you notice a Trade without a TP/SL here's what you can do :

1. Close the Trade immediately. Trading without a stop loss is very dangerous. Even if you are in a loss, best to protect your account rather than pray for the market to shift in your favor.

You'll also need to reset your Titan. Remember Titan doesn't recognize trades that are closed manually. So if a trade is closed manually Titan will think the trade is still open and this will mess up its algorithms. To reset Titan, simply re-drag Titan onto the chart and reconfigure your settings.

2. Make sure "allow modification of signals settings" is checked.

Double-click on the smiley to configure settings. Then click on the common tab. (See image below). This may not be the ultimate solution but it seems that more often than not, people experiencing this issue don't have this setting checked.

3. Make sure you're using the lowest latency option offered by your broker.

We're almost certain the issue is being caused by the broker. We know that latency doesn't really matter with Titan (as long as it's under 1 min it really doesn't make a difference). However, what happens is when the broker switches servers at the same time a trade modification is supposed to be made, the broker's server will disconnect long enough that a trade modification (setting TP/SL) is missed. (See image below).
So what's the solution? Check your broker's server options and make sure you have the lowest latency selected (see image below). Why? This will prevent your broker from searching for a lower latency option which could affect your TP/SL from getting set properly.

4. Relocate your VPS to location that is closer to your broker. You can message support and request to have your VPS relocated so that it's closer to your broker's server or feel free to purchase your own VPS that works best with your broker. This will prevent it from automatically searching for lower latency options which could ultimately cause your broker to disconnect while it's try to connect to a lower latency and thus causing the trade modifications (setting TP/SL) to be missed.

In summary, this is an issue we've never experienced before ourselves, and we've only seen it affect 1% of clients. However, please be aware so that if you do ever experience this issue, you'll know what to do.

In the meantime, we will also see if we can compensate for this broker issue by adjusting some of Titan's code to delay the trade modifications for example. We will need to test this throughly first however, so in the meantime please use the solutions outlined above. Hope this is helpful! Trade safe!
