Introduction
This guide walks you through how to use the HedgeBot for manual trading without relying on Titan. Here's the process:
- Set up the master account (Prop Firm Challenge):
- Apply the Titan Hedge to the master account.
- Go to Inputs and enter your email.
- Set the option to Sender.
- Ensure that there are no required prefixes or suffixes; they should be set correctly by default.
- Make sure algo trading is allowed and turned on.
- Set up the live account for hedging:
- Drag the HedgeBot onto the live account where you want to hedge.
- Input your email again.
- Set the option to Receiver.
- Set the magic number (e.g., 13566).
- Again, check for prefixes or suffixes (they should be fine by default).
- Set the recovery amount to match the size of the challenge (e.g., $1,000).
- For a 100K account, the max loss limit is 10K.
- Turn on algo trading and ensure it is enabled for both accounts.
- Start trading manually:
- Reset the balance display if necessary, but the setup is now ready.
- Open a trade: Click New Order, select a lot size (e.g., 2), and click Sell by Market.
- The system will automatically place a sell on the master account and a buy on the hedge account.
- Closing trades:
- When you close a trade on the master account, the corresponding hedge position will automatically close on the live account as well.
- You can monitor the progress and status of your trades in the terminal.
This setup allows you to manually trade while having the HedgeBot manage the hedging process in the background.
