WhatsApp by Meta, One of the biggest messaging apps, has decided to implement crypto transactions directly inside the app through Novi wallet, Reuters reports.

With reference to screenshots posted by Stephane Kasriel, the CEO of Novi, the application now allows transactions to take place directly in the app through a new money-sending interface. With this feature, users will be able to choose the number of funds they send and also confirm the transaction directly in the dialogue with the recipient.

Some United States’ users have already started using this program, and it is currently going through tests. According to Stephane, Novi does not change WhatsApp’s present privacy policy.

For a long time, Meta, initially called Facebook, has been working to implement crypto payments inside its apps after revealing its plans to create its own digital currency due to regulatory concerns.
