Lakers’ Staples Centre will be renamed ‘Crypto.com Arena’ after an agreement with Crypto.com, a Singapore-based crypto firm. According to an official statement, the Staples Center that hosts the Los Angeles Lakers had a $700 million deal with Crypto.com.

Crypto.com and AEG, a leading sports and entertainment company, renamed the Staples Center per an announcement by Crypto.com. The venue, one of the well-recognized sports and entertainment centers worldwide, is managed and owned by AEG. From December 25, the sporting venue will become Crypto.com Arena. The renaming would become effective on Christmas day, but Crypto.com would change the venue’s signage in June 2022.
