Ferrari ventured into the NFTs space after signing a multi-year with Velas Network (a Swiss technology firm). During the duration of this deal, Velas Network will create different digital content for the brand’s fans. According to the announcement on Ferrari’s website, the two companies will team up to issue “exclusive digital content” for the automotive manufacturer’s cars.

In the blockchain and NFTs sector, Velas is known as a global player. It owns the Velas NFT Marketplace where teams, companies, and organizations, develop NFTs for their user base. Included in the multi-year deal, this firm will collaborate with Ferrari’s Formula 1 racing team. It will also serve as a Title Sponsor for the Ferrari Esports Series.

General Manager and Team Principal for Scuderia Ferrari, Mattia Binotto, was satisfied with the deal, revealing that:

“We are pleased to start this collaboration with Velas Network AG, a company that makes innovation and performance the hallmark of technologically advanced products and services: these are all values that unite us and that led us to choose Velas as one of our Premium Partner.”

Farhad Shagulyamov, the Velas Network CEO and co-founder, also commented positively on the deal. The CEO showered praises on Ferrari as an icon of excellence. He said:

“Having built a next-generation blockchain that puts the emphasis both on sustainability and performance, it was natural to partner with another icon of excellence, which is Ferrari. Velas has introduced an innovative variety of pioneering technology into the blockchain and associated products, which will now be showcased at the pinnacle of motorsport.”
